How does an OEM project go?

Hongfei Production Process for Customized Service

1st Stage: pre-production preparation (1st charge for prototype/ hand-made sample)

Period: Within 10 business days

We need the real electronic device for engineering measurement.

• provide expert knowledge of technical issues regarding your design idea and 3D drawing

• confirm your product specification and start making a product prototype (made by PC)

• send out the prototype so that you could test out the structure and to see if it meets your requirement.

• You can still make changes on the prototype before we open a mold. If you satisfy with the prototype design we will proceed the project to the next stage—signing sales contract and confirming purchasing order.

2nd Stage: mold opening (2nd key charge) and mass production (3rd final charge based on qty)

Mold opening:

• THIS IS THE CRITICAL PART OF A CASE PRODUCTION PROCESS. ITS A PREREQUISITE AND NECESSITY IN PRODUCTION.

• Once a mold is made, it would be difficult to make further changes and if it’s a must, it would cost significantly.

Usually we will provide a detailed quotation including mold fee and mass production fee. We’ll suggest the most cost-effective way implementing your project.

Mold Opening: 25~35 days

Mass Production: 15~25 days (depending on the qty)

Be sure to inform us in advance of your expected delivery date so that your business plan could be prioritized and better arranged.
